Wow... first I am going to give you a suggestion: Before posting on the internet, please use spell check. Yahoo has been so kind as to provide one for you while you are on Y/A. If this is really your best attempt at spelling, please ask your teacher for help.

Now, about this boy. Forget about how he looks for a minute, and forget that he has the label of ADHD and is on medication, forget what you have heard about him when he is not on his medication. What does that leave you with? The true essence of this boy, aka. his personality. Do you like him still? Do you like how he treats you? Do you like his sense of humour? Do you like his wit? If you were blind and could not see this boy, and he didn't have ADHD, would you still want to date him? Why do I ask you these questions? Because these are the real reasons you go out with someone. Sure, being physically attracted to someone helps, but, it is not everything.

Now about his ADHD. His ADHD may be part of the reason you like him. He may be spontaneous (impulsive), lively and on the go (hyperactivity). If he didn't have ADHD, he wouldn't be the way that he is. You should never judge someone because of a label. When you do this, you are only looking at that person as someone with a label, and you are only seeing the negatives of that label.

Here are some advantages of having ADHD:
creativity
charming personality, warmheartedness
good judge of character
sense of humour
quick to grasp essentials
flexibility
intuitiveness
sensitive to surrounding environment
enthusiastic, passionate
forgives mistakes
tries to do better next time
willing to take risks

I think that you're over worrying a little bit!:) I also have this and the biggest problems I have is forgetfulness and the lack of organization skills, plus, I have a hard time finishing projects that are complex. I also get my feelings hurt pretty easily and I worry alot. I'm not on meds, so these could be some of his symptoms when he's not on meds.

1 out of 6 kids have some sort of behavior disorder today. Not everyone is open about it, so I bet you have a handfull of friends with this and you won't ever know who they are.

Good Luck!:)

I have ADHD, and I don't think it's right to decide that based on rumors of what you heard he does without meds, especially because he probably takes his meds on a daily basis, unless he's out. You should go out with him if you would've done so even if he didn't have adhd, and if he acts crazy often, then try finding out (nicely) if he took his pill. if he did then maybe he should up his doseage.

Maybe you should grow up and mature a bit more before you think about dating.......moron.
