Does ginseng help kids with adhd.....?

Does ginseng help kids with adhd.....?

Some say yes, some say to be careful with the dosages and/or to check with your doctor first.
Some of the research is listed at http://www.micronutra.com/journal/adhd/a... lists some of the research done on herbs for ADHD (Ginseng was in the list of one of the studies, but there's a lot more info there, too).
http://gnc.webmd.com/ginseng lists that "Given the lack of evidence about its safety, ginseng is not recommended for children or for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding". Simply put, ask your doctor if it would be safe and if so, what dose... there's not a whole lot of research on how safe it is for children, so it's a word of caution.
Good luck!
