Anyone know a cure for adhd? |
Can you guys help me? I have a step brother who is 8 years old with ADHD. My mom showed me this thing that makes a person mentally disordered and i need help to cure it because he is messing with my life! He is so annoying now. He blames me for him not doing his homework just because he gets distracted by the t.v. I tell him to go up stairs and do his homework. 5 hours later its all quiet and i went upstairs to see what is going on. Oh my god! he fell asleep! I hate him so much. He never pays attention and yeah, he makes me so mad, i want to smack him. So does anyone know how to stop this habit. He so stupid he make doodoo look like einstein. He so fat, when he jumps for joy he gets stuck. He so dumb when the doorbell rings, he opens the microwave. Omg i hate him. Why he have to live with us?! He has been in my way. I hope my parents didn't think he would benefit with him living with us. There is no cure, there is medicine for management and as he gets older he will learn to better control it and become more considerate of those who have to deal with him, but you must not let your lack of acceptance, understanding and tolerance make him insecure and uncertain at this delicate stage in his life. I understand that you are frustrated as many people are when they have to deal with another's disability but he needs you and will always need you - and one day you will both appreciate that. There is no specific cure for ADHD. I do understand it can be annoying but there is really nothing you can do. There are certain diets and medicine you can put him on but it will not completely cure him and he will there are always side effects. There is not anything you can do except to change your own attitude in the situation. His ADHD is not curable But your misplaced rage clearly is .Trust me on this one, as much as you "hate "your brother you would not want to spend one single day walking in his shoes |
