What happens when you accidentally overdose on adhd medicine called vyvanse...It's about 70 mg.?

Ok,There's also these little twitches where i can see thing's that are not there then something moves and i look again then I start Having these Motion's on my body where it feel's like osmeone is touching my hair and all that but nothing is touching it!And I hav't had any sleep what so ever today or yesterday what the **** is up!!

70mg isn't anywhere near the lethal level, so you're not going to die if you ingested that much. Your reaction will vary depending upon your tolerance, or how long you've taken it. I've been prescribed Adderall 20mg instant release (twice daily) well over a year and 70mg would probably do to me what 10mg would do to someone who'd never taken the stuff. It will most likely just make you really nervous and uncomfortable.

Call your doctor.

I'm not a doctor, so this isn't medical advice. However....

You didn't say what your regular dosage is. Doctors are advised to start at 30 mg and ramp up as needed to as high as 70 mg. However, that's supposed to be done in 10 mg increments week by week.

What you're experiencing are typical overdose symptoms. From www.vyvanse.com:

10 OVERDOSAGE
Individual patient response to amphetamines varies widely. Toxic symptoms may occur idiosyncratically at low doses.
Symptoms: Manifestations of acute overdosage with amphetamines include restlessness, tremor, hyperreflexia, rapid respiration, confusion, assaultiveness, hallucinations, panic states, hyperpyrexia, and rhabdomyolysis. Fatigue and depression usually follow the central nervous system stimulation. Cardiovascular effects include arrhythmias, hypertension or hypotension, and circulatory collapse.
Gastrointestinal symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps. Fatal poisoning is usually preceded by convulsions and coma.
Treatment: Consult with a Certified Poison Control Center for up-to-date guidance and advice. Management of acute amphetamine intoxication is largely symptomatic and includes gastric lavage, administration of activated charcoal, administration of a cathartic, and sedation. Experience with hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis is
inadequate to permit recommendation in this regard. Acidification of the urine increases amphetamine excretion but is believed to increase risk of acute renal failure if myoglobinuria is present. If acute severe hypertension complicates amphetamine overdosage, administration of intravenous phentolamine has been suggested.
However, a gradual drop in blood pressure will usually result when sufficient sedation has been achieved. Chlorpromazine antagonizes the central stimulant effects of amphetamines and can be used to treat amphetamine intoxication. The prolonged release of Vyvanse in the body should be considered when treating patients with overdose.

So: Call Poison Control or the doctor who prescribed the medication.

Hope that helps.

70 mg is the upper limit for vyanse and not the same equivalent as an adderall dosage. I was on vyvanse for several months but could not stand the side effects; (twitches) being one of them. the best approach to amphetamines is to take the smallest dose necessary to obtain increase improvement.. Also heighten awareness of your senses is one of the basic properties that most stimulants have.

NOBODY should ever be put on that drug! For there is not even such thing as the ADHD!
How do I know? I got both conditions at different times; back before the drug companies were brainwashing people with their fake condition.
The A.D.D is a permanent condition that has three major parts to it (a lot more then loosing ones attention). Hyperactivity is a temporary condition that we carry only as long as we really want. When we realize this and decide to control ourselves we get our control.
Drug companies could not find a drug to put on A.D.D.people on. So they pushed it and Hyperactivity together so they could get more drugs sold that way. They only care about more money in their pockets.
Once one is on their drug how are they suppose to even be able to think to themselves and decide to do right?

The only real way to find out about this is to call any pharmacy. You don't have to have a rx at their pharmacy to get a question answered. Just call any pharmacy in the phone book and ask to speak to a pharmacist

Different for everyone, depending on weight and stomack contents, but it could lead to DEATH.

you die
