Is there any documented evidence for the treatment of ADHD with marijuana?

Most definitely. But we're not talking about Marinol like the person above me mentioned. Marinol is actually a completely legal prescription drug containing synthetic THC. Marinol tends to have negative side effects because it doesn't contain any of the other cannabinoids found in marijuana which actually help balance out the effects of THC to normal levels. So many people experience less than desirable effects.

Onto the real deal, cannabis, most definitely has been prescribed for patients in states that have legalized medical marijuana and there is evidence of it being beneficial. It's also considerably safer that Adderall and Ritalin.

As a nurse and a mother with a 16 yr old child that has ADHD I have not ever heard of it. Short of treating poor appetites with a drug called "marinol" Which is basically THC. It would be very unlikely that any MD would prescribe it for that reason unless the person is so emaciated and not eating at all.

I never heard of it, I think that's just a long shot bud.
