Is there an Adult out their that has ADHD?

I wanted to get more information from a real person about adult ADHD. I have for a while think its a possibility that I might have this but I really just wanted some more insight about it before I bring it up to my dr. Thanks!!

I would suggest you go to Dr. Amen's site. Just google Dr. Amen or the Amen Clinic. He has in my opinion the best subjective test available and a very informative site. You can take the ADD test right online for a very modest amount.

HEEEEEY I think I have adult ADD/ADHD too...I am so bad at remembering things and organisation that I haven't even got round to talking to my doctor about it! =)
I have all the traits of ADHD predominantly inattentive, do get hyper and impulsive but I'm not sure it's as bad. I took an ADHD test at PsychCentral and it says I have it. I really need to go and find out! I'm desperate to know! I already have Asperger's as well, was so relieved when I found out that was why I found so many normal things difficult and was just the way I am.

I have ADD, the non-hyperactive type of attention deficit. You need to find a psychologist (preferably one with experience in testing people for learning disabilities and ADD/ADHD) and have them test you. It involves an IQ test and some other similar diagnostic tests. It's not cheap and it's not quick, but it's the only way to know for sure.
