How do you keep interested in one thing with ADHD?

I have ADHD, and I cant do one certain thing for more than a month or two, I get bored of it too fast. is this just my personality? my mom says its because of ADHD, so would the medicine you can get for it (I dont have any but my bro does) help you do one thing? I really want to get good at stuff but I get bored of everything too fast!

oo, seems there was a misunderstanding, I didnt mean to get into good stuff, I mean, get good at stuff, as in, I want to get really good at writing a book, or playing an instrament, but I just cant get myself to practice it enough to get good, I get bored way too fast.

I am the same way. I've gone from wanting to write,play music,play pool,etc..and these are all my talents but I get frustrated if I am not successful in them right away.

I get bored very easily too. Just do stuff you enjoy, take deep breaths and have a positive mind.

Everyone gets frustrated.

I wouldn't get any medication. You need to learn how to deal with life on your own.

You say you want to get into "good stuff." What is that? I don't think you get bored of the "stuff" fast. You get annoyed that you aren't successful right away.
