What do doc ask when you go to get help for ADHD?

I believe I have ADHD and am looking to make an apointment to go and get evaluated. What are some of the symptom so of ADHD. I have a friend who has it and she thinks I do to.

There are three main symptoms of ADHD they are 1. Attention deficit, 2. hypractivity and 3. poor impulse control. Most people who have ADHD have all three, but if you have 1 or 2 and they are severe enough you may also warrant a diagnosis.

1 Attention deficit - trouble concentration on tedius work, always underachieving for your potential, short attention sppan, gets bored and loosed interest quickly, easily distracted, has trouble staying on task. As a child this usually leads to school failure, repeating a grade, poor grades, inability to do homework. As a teen more school failure often dropping out. And as an adult difficulty getting or holding a job, difficulty completing the daily tasks needed to care for yourself.

2. hyperactivity - inability to sit still, trouble staying seated, always fidgeting or fiddling, constant talking humming and making noises, trouble falling asleep, reduced need for sleep, way to much energy all the time, always feeling restless, always feeling driven and having trouble stopping or settling down. Acting out emotions physically instead of just feeling them, getting hyped up easily.

3. Poor impulse control - doesn't consider the consequences of actions. As a child always in trouble, as a teen often suspended/expelled from school, as an adult freqquenmtly acting in a very innapropriate way. Having to apologise a lot more often than most people, being imaptient, incapable of waiting for turns, often interrupting or intruding on others and generally living in the moment.

To be diagnosed all of the following three things must be the case.

1. The problems must be pervasive. they are not there all of the time, they are there everyday for most of the day. they do not just affect you at work but everywhere including at home, watching TV, playing sport, shopping or out with friends.

2. They must be chronioc problems. This is an inborn dosorder so to be diagnosed you must have had these problems your whiole life.

3. they must ber very severe, and have caused serious detriment to your life.

LOL. This just proves my point that more than half the diagnosed disorders of ADHD, Bipolar, and Depression are just kids being over dramatic

If you'r not patient and takes you longer then other people to do stuff you usually have ADHD

You don't have it. That is obvious by the way you have written this.
Forget about it and get on with your life
