What learning disorders can ADHD be misdiagnosed as?

I have researched this a lot and its just groups all the learning disorders together. It doesn't specifically say which learning disorders.

Hi <3 Edward & Bella <3 -

It does seem that ADHD can get grouped together with all the "learning disorders." It's too bad because ADHD is actually not considered a learning disability or disorder at all.

It's been my experience that ADHD is the mostly grossly misunderstood condition we talk about right now. Most people make the connection of ADHD to someone who is hyperactive, constantly fidgeting, and can't finish tasks. But that's not even scratching the surface! Not even close.

ADHD can be misdiagnosed for many different learning "disorders" as well as psychological problems and medical problems. That's what makes things so hard. ADHD is easily misdiagnosed, overdiagnosed, and underdiagnosed all at the same time...

It's confusing for almost everyone, and that's too bad because people with ADHD tend to have so much to offer the world.

Anyway, I'm a little passionate about this topic, so here's a partial list of conditions and disorders that ADHD can be confused for:

1. Dyslexia
2. Non Verbal Learning Disability
3. Depression
4. Bipolar Disorder
5. Sensory Processing Disorder
6. Anxiety
7. PTSD

There's just too many to list.

Hope this helps.

I don't know but the famous Olympic gold medallist in swimming.. Michael Phelbs suffered from ADHD and swimming helped him to get it under control.. his teachers told him ''you will never get anywhere in life '' and his school mates bullied him.. now he is one of the most successful athlethes and his name is known world wide.. so whatever ADHD does.. Michael Phelbs suffered from it.. but he definitely had his strenghts in sports.. he won 16 gold medals altogether.. and I am sure his teachers and those who bullied him in class are amazed now that he is more famous than they can ever dream to be...and he was and is not dyslexic.. ADHD means attention deficit Hyperactivity disorder.. it means the person is to hyperactive and for that reason can't focus for long on a task.. his swimming helped Michael Phelps to get this under control to a great degree.. he could use his hyperactivity in his swimming...
