If you are diagnosed with ADHD will this revoke your CDL? |
My wife has been diagnosed with ADHD for years and she has been telling me that I need to get tested because she believes I have the same. My only problem is if I do have ADHD the medicine she takes is Dexedrine which is a narcotic. I know if you are on certain medications it will revoke your medical card needed to attain your CDL. Im not afraid to get tested I just make so much money right now that if I were to get tested it would cut my check by more than half! Can anyone help because I see the difference her medication makes in her and I think it could greatly benefit me. Not in the trying to stay up but I have always had trouble with concentration and thought process. If you are prescribed the meds, as long as they will not affect your ability to drive, you will not be disqualified. ADHD is not a disqualifying condition. |
