Are there any pros having ADHD?

One aspect that's often overlooked is that ADHD see things differently than other people. This leads them to have a kind of maverick quality which can really help.

As far as treatment for ADHD goes, it doesn't change the fact that you have ADHD, so you don't lose the maverick qualities. If you are on medication, as soon as it wears off, you are back to the world of ADHD. But treatment can help you to actually get things done and get accomplished whatever you want to. It can help teach life skills that ADHD people often do not learn. After all, ADHD IS a learning disability. But we do have to look at the bright side. It's not a death sentence, and can be a blessing with proper treatment.

It can be a serious problem mostly by the kids, because of the hormone (forgot the name), it increases their activity level and cannot be control by calling up names or something. Worst thing is, they keep on banging their head on the wall, so safety measures must be observed at all times.

In the UK parents who have children with ADHD can get an extra child maintenance payment. I guess that is a pro really.
