Difference between ADHD and Aspergers? |
Is there any difference(s) between ADHD and Aspergers Syndrome? by reading basic information in the internet. ADHD is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Asperger's syndrome is a pervasive developmental disorder and is neurological. ADHD or ADD is commonly a co morbidity (occurs within the diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome) to Asperger's. Asperger's diagnosed people are affected by their inability to understand others intentions, read social cues, and typically have difficulty making friends. ADHD is a problem focusing, Asperger's syndrome is a form of autism that sometimes shows itself in anti-social behavior. They are COMPLETELY different disorders. The signs and symptoms are very different. Ditto Lioness. Totally different ADHD is like a hyper guy w/ ashort attention spann. People (like me) w/ AS have so many symptoms that vary from person to person. |
