Do you think people with autism and ADHD are annoying?

yes my son has autism and it basically it's made life a misery for the rest of the family, so he is somewhat trying of patience.

Autistic people don't have higher intelligence as far as I understand. There can be people with extra intelligence just as there can be non-autistic people. Where autistic people can perform amazing mental feats it's due to obsessive behaviours, for example spending all time studying calendars.

Note to people:

Sorry if people think I appear heartless - we've done everything we can to help out son, his symptoms manifest themselves in such a way that it is just annoying. No one else, with the exception of a psychiatrist who is the only person I've met with more patience than me, has succeeded in not getting annoyed by my son, but he only sees him for an hour every 2 months.

No. Well not really. My best friend is ADHD and shes amazing. Shes on meds for it. I mean, sometimes she's a little annoying/loud but its also part of her personality.

I have three cousins that are autistic. Jake is annoying a lot but Brittney and Amberly aren't that annoying. They tend to stay to themselves. They all are very creative and I think that helps them to not be annoying. I get annoyed with Jake the most often, though.

ADHD maybe, but I believe autistic people are much smarter than your average human.
