What are the signs of adhd ?

i want 2 no if i have adhd but mom dont believe i have it and wont take me for a test

There are three main symptoms. they are 1. Attention deficit, 2. Hyperactivity and 3. Poor impulse control.

To understand these better.

1. Attention deficit - Trouble concentrating on things like school work, short attention span, gets bored and looses interest in things really quickly and easily, easily distracted, underachieving at school, trouble finishing your work in time, trouble concentrating on things you enjoy like watching TV.

2. hyperactivity - fidgetting and fiddeling constantly, talking a lot, needs hardly any sleep, cant sit still or stay seated, trouble walking places tends to run and jump and skip and hop instead, often very loud, always feeling restless, often feels driven by a motor like you cant stop.

3. Poor impulse control - struggles to think of the consequences of your actions, acts without thinking, gets in trouble a lot, gets in serious trouble like being suspended or excluded from school, repeats behaviour often already corrected, just tends to do silly things all the time.

There are also three other things you must have in order to have ADHD.

1. You must have had these problems your whole life, ADHD does not appear later on in life. It is an inborn condition, you have to have had it your whole life.

2. The problems must be in all parts of your life not just school. You would need to have these problems at school, at home, when watching TV, when playing sport, when out with friends, and everywhere.

3. These problems must be very severe and have caused major problems in your life.

Inattention, Hyperactivity and Impulsivity are 3 major signs. read about it..

my mum was like this she said i was lazy for years

but then my teach said i should see some1 then ther was this whole thing and some questions and loads of people involved

then they ofered some meds but my mum said no so they recomend this crap diet wich has like 0 treats

How old are you ? I am sure that if you had ADHD the signs would have been picked up on by now. I think your mum is right.
