I'm 15, do not have ADHD and just took a 36mg pill of Concerta?

Will I be okay? Please be honest. Will eating something make me keep it down? Thanks so much.

You will be ok. It is just a stimulant like a bunch of diet cokes or coffee.

However you must have gotten it from a friend. That is really dangerous as both of you can get in big trouble for that. Stay off the stimulants as they can give you a real painful headache and make your mouth really dry. Plus the outside chance of heart trouble...

people who do not have ADHD and take these kinda of meds "speed up" instead of calming you down. I would not suggest taking this again. But you'll be just fine. You could have heart trouble if you abuse this med. these are like prescribed meth and should only be taken if needed. Report Abuse

Yea, alot of students take them. I was prescibed to Concerta when I was 14. Though they would make me anti- social, and concentrate very hard on subjects. I could not force myself to eat on them. Because it was to high of a dosage. So you really should of broke it in half. And since I am ADHD, they slow me down, where to as a normal person as yourself they make you speed.

It's not going to help you study. It's just going to make you feel so hyped up that you won't be able to sit still. I will never understand why people don't get that.
