Why is it so difficult for someone who suffers from Adult ADHD to receive proper medication? |
Why is it so difficult for someone who suffers from Adult ADHD to receive proper medication? when I mentioned this to my Doctor he said there was no such thing. It is getting recognised a bit more lately. Bi-polar seems to be more the thing to diagnose these days. Adult ADHD is less likely to get treated because it's a bit unknown, doctors like to lurk away from dark spots when they can't fix them, but ADHD is easier to fix in younger children, so when adults have it, there's not much they can do because an adult has a fully developed brain. Yes I know, but not only that people with depression have a hard time to find the right medicine. |
