Can a Monster energy drink treat ADHD? |
I have ADHD and I used to take Aderol as a kid. Now I can handle it, but I realized that it feels just like it did when I took Aderol whenever I drink a monster. I know that Aderol is a stimulant, and was wondering if Monster- a stimulant- could do or does the same thing. Honestly I would say no and tell you you are better off staying clear of anything with artificial colours, flavours and preservatives and eating as natural foods as possible to treat ADHD. As a person on same drug, I can say for myself that it doesn't work the same way. Adderal is comprised of a sodium compound and energy drinks are mostly made up of vitamins and (for those not drinking diet) sugar. |
