HELP!! QUESTIONS ABOUT ADHD AND CONCERTA???!!!!?

My daughter is now taking Concerta I was wondering if anyone has any info on this drug? Good or Bad!

It is a good medication. I know that concerta can cause stomach upset, increased blood pressure and increased respiratory rate, dependence..
So make sure your daughter takes the medication with food..
It is one of many drugs used to treat ADHD( examples are Focalin, Strattera, Vyvanse, Concerta, Daytrana, Adderall, Ritalin, Dexedrine)

I have a 9 year old grandson who lives with me and has severe Adhd. He has been medicated for several years and has been taking the extended release Concerta capsules for well over a year. All Adhd medications have some side effects but the only ones I have seen with Concerta are a lack of appetite and occasionally problems getting to sleep at night.
We tried several other meds before Concerta, but it seems to work the best.

I'd watch her take it - and count her pills everyday to make sure that the right amount is in there at all times. ...not to say you're daughter is untrustworthy, but kids at that age love to abuse this kind of medication - and it's healthy anyway for you to take an active role in her treatment. =)
