Two years old with Autism, ADD, ADHD, and OCD?

We believe my son has either ADD, ADHD, OCD or Autism or all of them. What should I look for to find out which one he should be tested for?? HELP!!!

Autism is easy to diagnose in 2yos, no matter what the other people said. As to the others... those might be hard to diagnose, I dunno.

If you're concerned, make an appointment with Early Intervention or whatever it's called in your state. They'll assess your child for free and provide treatment for free or cheap if necessary. They'll do a general assessment for all developmental disorders, including autism etc, although you can of course tell them what you're worried about. Even if they determine your child is fine they'll likely give you a few parenting tips.

Are you sure you just don't have a normal 2 year old?

Look at your parenting techniques first to see if your son's behavior isn't a result of your parenting.

Any physician can have your 2 year old evaluated, so you don't need to come up with a diagnosis. But, also be prepared for the fact that you may just have a normal 2 year old who is reacting to your parenting.

At his age it will be hard to diagnose all of these. But if you truly are concerned that he has these then bring up your concerns with a doctor and the doctor will evaluate him and will send you to a Specialist if the doctor feels fit. But keep in mind that at age 2 kids tend to be very hyperactive anyway.

At 2, I thought my son had all these things too! Turned out he was really just normal with a few sensory issues which we've worked through. It may be helpful to know what specifically he may be doing that is concerning you. As the others said, his pediatrician is the first place to start. But at 2, you likely won't get a diagnosis. If you and/or your pediatrician think there is an abnormality, have child evaluated by a child psychologist.
