Any one have child misdiagnosed PDD but think ADHD instead? Help?

Yes, I have seen children with both PDD and ASD, who are clearly not, but are ADHD. In certain cases, symptoms overlap and it can be an easy mistake to make.

What is wrong, I feel is our symptomatic labelling of children. By this I mean that we look at a specific collection of symptoms, which a child displays and we label those symptoms, cerebral palsy, or autism, or PDD, or ADHD, etc.

The problem is that in all these cases of brain dysfunction, - for that is the cause of all of them, - the more severe the brain dysfunction, the more symptoms the child will display, until the dysfunction is so severe that a child displays symptoms from many of these labels. Then the confusion begins as to whether he has autism, or ADHD, etc.
