I have ADHD. I was wondering why is it so hard to read?

Hi there my brother-in-law has ADHD and reads exceptionally well it's different for every one I think if you really would like to improve your reading visit your local higher education centre and ask about help learning to read or reading better and what advice they can give you,
Alot of it can be down to you being hyperactive and your attention being short lived
those who say adhd and add are not a real condition are so wrong I have seen my brother-in-law without his meds and he's uncontrollable please ask your gp for further advice on the condition and help available to you

Hi love i have a son similar to you and he finds it hard to read.He could never concentrate fully at school and always wanted attention from teachers. He is 16 now and though he is getting better he still has trouble at college.I think the problem is that people in your situation get frustrated because they cant cope with the work load and therefore fall behind with things i dont know how old you are but things could get better for you in the future. As for the people giving negative comments dont take any notice love because they dont know what its like.x

i bet you read a line, and its almost as if you didnt read it or cant understand it, so you read it again, and maybe again. this is my opinion, but whats helped me is to accept and be aware of what im doing. i love reading, but i simply cant do it. so in order for me to do it, i need no distractions, no public places and skim the page first quickly then read it. its helped me. good luck.

my sister has adhd, its because u lack the ability to concerntrate for long periods of time. basically your mind gets bored and wants to do something more challenging, it gets bored by the bthings that are easy to do as its not challing enough for your brain to care

your probably like me. often when i have to read to find information i get bored and give up quickly because i just see this massive paragraph of words and its like DAMMIT! or you just lose concentration and keep missing or repeating lines youve read lol.

ADHA is a very complicated subject.

The Americans seem to have more knowledge about it than the UK.

Do some research on American web sites.

maybe, because your attention span is very short. And you get bored easily.

If you can write you already know how to read.

You may need glasses

no offense but i think adhd is a made up disease so that pharmaceutical companies can sell people drugs. so that they can finance their mercedes and nice beach houses.
want to improve your attn span? go take up a sport. will help you discipline yourself. or take up a music class. what is something you can do for hours, but feel like minutes? find a passion!

Because ur so ******* hyper ur like **** this **** **** im out
