Does ADHD medication improve your reading? |
I took the WISC test and said I was low on reading skills 10th grade reader and I graduated high school. Will medications help me improve? I was diagnosed with ADD when I was young. I believe I still have it. Sorry for leaving out this bit. You can't go mixing the meds that are in your ADHD medication with anything that the doctor hasn't prescribed... Here's all of them with DEX in there name. Adderall (amphetamine; dextroamphetamine) Adderall XR (amphetamine; dextroamphetamine) Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) Dextrostat (dextroampheta... It sounds like it could be ADD. Generally if you have trouble paying attention to any one thing for too long is a big sign of ADD. I'd get tested if I were you. ...YES, very. kids and parents both use it as an excuse for bad behavior and a reason not to discipline their kids. ...no...there are many actors/professionals out there who have adhd/add. My teacher has it and she proved to everyone that she can function just as well as the next. Getting tested might help you out ... ADD runs in my family. I've looked into treatment and I'm 60 years old. It's never to late to get treatment. But don't wait until you are my age!!! ... |
