How do I know if I have ADHD? What test should I take?

Well, there are a lot of wacky "10 ways to know if you have ADHD" type quizzes on the internet. And if you have the time, there are a couple of world recognised questionare type things to fill out, some of these require you to give details of family medical history, some of us like our privacy.

There are several tests around, that im sure you would have taken during your schooling years. Below is one that has been used since 1949.

The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC)

Although I am against the self diagnosis of neurobehavioral disorders, what gives anyone the right to deny another human being treatment? Thus never giving them the opportunity to reach their full potential.

i too have adhd..and i know alot about it b/c i did an essay on it.. tell me what your symptoms/problems are and I can help you decide if you should see someone about it or not..i can also give you links to websites i used for it.
