Is bad memory a symptom of ADHD?

I'm 15 years old and I was just diagnosed with ADHD. I'm wondering if one of the symptoms is forgetfulness? For example, a week ago I made a yahoo account, but I forgot what the name was, so I had to make a new account. Another example; I left the sink on to wash my face, and went to check my email. I was so distracted, I kinda ended up flooding my bathroom.

Is that a normal symptom?

Yes, those are symptoms of ADHD. There are three different categories of symptoms: inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity. Forgetfulness and distractibility fit within the "inattention" category. For more info I recommend the following WebMD article.
