How do i get a general check up for add, adhd, dyspraxia, dylexia etc?

my teachers have said that they are very sure that i hav ADD, and so have my parents, my reports from when i was younger constantly say lack of attention, poor concentration, clumsy, day dreamy etc, also i apparently had no sense of heights when i was little, i am currently 17 my docters will not give me the check up because they feel that i am to smart to have any of the following but i swear these conditions do not affect your intelligence, but i just desperatly want to know because it would explain alot of things for me i've been trying to get checked for this for the past 2 years it reli starting to wind me up i only wish to know can anyone help please by the way i live in the uk

While these conditions may not affect your intelligence per se, they do affect test scores and achievement. So if you are doing well in school, you do not have any of the above disorders. One of the most important criteria for any psychological disorder is "impairment in functioning"
If you feel like you are somehow impaired, you'll need to get a psychoeducational evaluation. Your doctors will not actually test you for these conditions, although they might give you meds. You'll need to see either a psychologist or some type of learning specialists. You can probably ask a counselor at your school about where the services might be available.

As per usual, the best way to get your doctor's attention on the matter is to punch him in the swede. Scream and shout incomprehensible and offensive words before dropping your trousers, defecating on his desk and asking him to use his stethoscope to find out whether your turd has a bad attitude.

Failing that you could always request the opinion of another doctor.
