For people with ADHD...anybody was able to get good grades in college without taking any medications ? |
,m acollege student and I,m smart guy but last seemster in my softmore year I realized that I have every sptyome of ADHD...I can't concetrate when I study unless I have a plan and I follow that plan so I don't forget things.I loss track of time alot I failed one of my classes but Iam not sure if that was the cause.Iam a softmore .I also would like to mention that English is my second lanaguge and I think that make things even more comlicated.I don't wanna take any medications for my disorder..did anybody was able to survive colege and was able to get good grades without medications ?I really need your advise and your expierinces.I don't wanna take meds coz I think I can survive by just planing everything a head ? Perhaps you can find some useful information in a web search for adhd + "natural remedies". I have ADD and refuse to take medication (I've tried numerous types and they all give me bad anxiety). I've gotten B's and C's throughout college, but could have definitely gotten A's if I put in an actual effort. I would try the meds and see how your body reacts but yes you can definately do good without them (unless your ADHD is severe). Stay focused stay organized plan ahead and yes you can do it without taking medications. |

This treatment may seem harsh but it has done wonders for me since I was in grade school. The first few times I hated it but now i find it really relaxing. Every summer when I'm home from coll... ADHD seems too be a severely misunderstood condition in the USA. I live in another country and ADHD is well acceptedd here because it is diagned less often. In the USA it is diagnosed in about 7%... find ways to let him get his energy out ...If your doc prescribed it, then he/she thinks it's appropriate for you. ... |
