ADHD/ADD in the military?

When I was in late elementary school/early middle school I was sent to a psychiatrist/psychologist and they think I might have ADHD/ADD though I do not know if I was actually diagnosed with it, I have never taken any meds for it and I am 2 months from my 18th birthday.
I was looking at http://usmilitary.about.com/od/joiningth...

and they said "MEPS may require school transcripts to demonstrate acceptable academic performance for the year without medication."
Now I have never taken any ADHD/ADD meds in my entire life and I have had at least a 2.0 or higher GPA during my entire high school life and I have never failed a class but currently I have a 53% in AP psychology and I'm doing bad in my "College Algebra" class (though I haven't failed) would this be considered unacceptable academics and disqualify me from joining? I'm trying to join the Army National Guard.

Here is the reg for ya-

ADD/ADHD is disqualifying only if the applicant has been treated with ADD/ADHD medication within the previous year and/or they display signs of ADD/ADHD. For applicants with a previous history of ADD/ADHD who have been off medication for more than one year, and they do no demonstrate significant impulsivity or inattention during MEPS processing, the MEPS examining official may find them qualified for military service without submission of a waiver.

Records review is still required. Any history of being evaluated or treated for ADD/ADHD must be documented. As a minimum, all treatment (if any) within the previous three years must be submitted to MEPS, in advance, as part of the medical pre-screening. Full medical records are required if the applicant was ever treated for ADD or ADHD with any medication other than Ritalin, Adderal, or Dexedrine, or if there were any additional psychiatric symptoms, such as, but not limited to, depression.

MEPS may require school transcripts to demonstrate acceptable academic performance for the year without medication. If treatment for ADD/ADHD occurred throughout the school environment, but wasn鈥檛 stopped until after the applicant left school, there is still the possibility of waiver consideration.

If you have never been prescribed medication for ADD/ADHD, then its most likely that you don't have any record of being diagnosed with it. Therefore, you probably don't have to worry about it. Even so, if you do have this on your medical records, its very much waiverable depending on what branch you want to join. Especially the Army. I've heard of guys getting waived for everything by the Army, even drug usage, which is zero tolerance in the Navy, which is what I joined.

Don't sweat it, dude. You're most likely OK.

drop your entire life and join active army infantry (11B) ADD is a good thing keep scanning that sector... but seriously its the most commonly waivered psychological disorder just ask your recruiter if it will help if you got a letter from a psychiatrist or even just goto one to get undiagnosed
