ADHD QUESTION NEED HELP PLEAS? |
im 18 and i believe AD HD held me back, don't beat yourself up. the system failed to identify your learning needs. a person with adhd has a brain that processes info in a little different way. its not that you are stupid but that you've not yet learned to work around the way your brain functions. you need to see a doctor- probably a pediatric psychiatrist, who specializes in the treatment of adhd.there are many meds used in the treatment.also if you are still in public school they have to pay for any testing. i sure do wish you the best. just hang in there b/c you can work through this! Report Abuse i sure do wish you the best. just hang in there b/c you can work through this! Report Abuse Tell your doctor how these medications are not helping you. There is medication that will. People take mental problems lightly. But, if they don't suffer from it they do not understand. I do, I have mental illness, several. And some days are worse than others. I had a step son who had ADHD and it took so long to find medication. Would you be willing to try Depekote? It works wonderfully on some people. Ask your doctor about it. Ok? Keep on trying and I wish you the best! God be with you! if u want to go there should be no problem |
