Is there an opposite to ADHD?

I feel I have the same tendencies of not being able to focus, but my brain is NOT sharp enough, and I feel physically lazy all the time as well.
If there is...what medication can you get to stimulate your brain's function?????????

Please help!

ADD was lumped together ADHD recently. What you are describing are symptoms of ADD. I have ADD (ADHD) and before I started treatment I would sleep all the time and I would have a foggy mind. I couldn't focus on hardly anything. I would start projects and not finish them because I started another one and another and another. Reading text books was a joke. I would reread the same paragraphs over and over while I was thinking of something completely different. I felt lazy ALL the time. These symptoms are seen in adults who have actually had ADHD all of their lives but never received treatment. My life is so different now. The meds do have side effects that suck, but for me the benefits out-way the draw backs. Go to a psychiatrist and get more information. ADHD medication is a controlled substance and can not be bought over-the-counter. I bought "Focus-Factor" but didn't take it long enough to notice change. You could try it. It may work for you. Good luck, dear!

I'm going to refer you to someone from Yahoo Answers, who has really helped me with my 8 year old son. He is so knowledgeable in stuff like this, and I think he might have some answers for you. You can try to look him up on Yahoo Answers, under the name Memento Mori, and send him an email, let him know I referred you to him for help with this question. Good luck.

You could very well have ADD, which is simply ADHD without the activity. You may be disorganized, daydream, not be able to concentrate on things, not get things done on time, forget things, etc. You could talk to your doctor regarding what to do about this.

there is not a opposite of adhd but you might have anxitiy look it up and see if you have the symptoms b.c i thought i had adhd but i didnt and they told me too look it up so i did .
