If you have ADD/ADHD are you able to receive a disabiltiy check? Generally, you can't get disability unless it impairs your ability to work significantly, and it's a lot harder to get on it for mental disorders than physical ones. With the right medicine, ADD is usually manageable, so I wouldn't hold your breath. my ex-boyfriend has ADHD and he's on SSDI. But he has a lot of doctor's documentation. Possibly, it depends on the exact diagnosis and ability to hold down a job. no |
