What type of genetic disorder is ADHD? |
Is it sex linked, gene mutation, how do you get it? If you have a source, please include it. If this helps, I am writing a paper about ADHD but I am writing it as if it is a genetic disorder (it has been proven in lots of studies that it can be a genetic disorder). So how do you get ADHD - my teacher's question is "What type of genetic disorder is ADHD?" it's not Personally, I think you will find out that most things about people, in general are genetic from our eye color to our predisposition to certain illnesses. From what some people say, ADHD is caused by an intestinal disorder called Candida Albicans, or Leaky Gut. You can also look these up, online: "ADHD and candida", "ADHD and Leaky Gut", "ADHD and food sensitivities". Dr. Doris Rapp also wrote books about this, but you could simply look it up, online. With this philosphy, you will find that there may be genetics to someone getting Diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure (certain families get certain diseases), but the external problems may bring about the actual disease or condition.
