How do I get tested/prescribed for ADHD (if I have it)? |
How do I get tested/prescribed for ADHD (if I have it)? The way I found out for my son(ADHD) and I(ADD) well for him was a little different 'cause a teacher suggested I should see someone. The first thing you usually do is make a appt. with your primary doc you describe what make you think you have it, he/she will give you some paper work(it's a questionnaire) depending on how you score will depend on if you have or not and to what degree. Your doc will go over meds with you. I hope this helps. Go to your doctor, explain the symptoms. He will let you know what you have. he will give you the right course of treatment. Talk to your doctor |
