Are these some symptoms of ADHD?

I am 14 and caffeine has no affect on me, in fact sometimes it has the opposite affect and I feel very drowsy. Sometimes I feel hyper at random times or I talk very fast. But not all the time. On the other hand I am pretty good at school work, mostly B's, and I can focus on school work pretty easily.

Im just like you, Im 14 and my mom doesnt think i need pills though because I have straight A's and am in the school's enrichment program. Although I probably do have ADHD, because I can function w/o the medicine and exceed, I really dont need it.

I would guess you don't have it since you're able to focus on your school work. You might have some hyperactivity in you though. It's strange that pills sometimes have the opposite effect like what you speak of with the caffeine. I've also heard that "calming" herbs and supplements make hyper kids even more hyper.

some of those are symptoms of adhd, but most people with it cant pay attention (like me, but i also get good grades) but my mom doesnt think i should get tested. chances are u dont have it, even tho u do have a few symptoms.

    Not sure what stupidity has to do with it. FASD may be the cause of the apparent ADHD, which would be almost impossible to diagnose without the appropriate history.

    i also had this problem throughout most of my life.. i dont know if you have ever taken it , but if you are really adhd then adderrall will help this. if i dont take mine daily, i get nothing done....
