How does having sex with multiple sex partners cause aids? |
I don't really get that part. Having sex with multiple partners does not cause HIV (virus that can lead to AIDS), but having multiple sex partners raises the risk that one of your partners will be infected, which raises the risk that you will be infected by having sex with them. Remember, if you have multiple sexual partners, chances are good that your partners have multiple partners of their own. I gave a very logical answer. And then you turned around and chose someone for best answer who gave a very plain SHORT answer at that. So you didn't understand anything that I said? WOWzers. That shows your intelligence friend... Report Abuse I would have to agree with 'I don't care for you much'. She has stated some very good points for you. The crazy thing about HIV is that it's a weak virus. I have done some volunteering with organizations and I have learned that you can catch HIV with just one sexual encounter. Or you might not. Having unprotected sex with a HIV infected person is like playing Russian Roulette with your life. Every time you have sex you are not going to get pregnant right? Well, the same goes for AIDS. Every time you have sex you might catch it or you might not. Although studies have shown most people who catch it have put themselves at risk more than once. And that is why sleeping with multiple partners puts you at risk. You might not catch it from infected person number three, but on down the line you might catch it from infected person number fifteen. That is the scary thing about this disease you just never know. I have known some people who have slept with infected persons unprotected and never caught anything. Sometimes it will get in your system and sometimes it wont. Having unprotected sex with more than one person deffinitly puts you at extreme risk friend. The more times you sleep with someone the greater your chances of contracting it. If you sleep with 20 people its less likely you'd sleep with someone that has hiv than if your sleeping with 100 people.. The greater the number of people your sleeping with the greater your chance of sleeping with someone that has HIV.. Although you could sleep with the wrong person one time and contract it as well but higher numbers always produce higher risks. well idk if cause fits correctly even though it kinda does..well it increases the chance of you contracting HIV which will lead to AIDS or any other STD dont forget sex causes.HIV,AIDS,STD and & Pregnancy and no one wants to go on the Maury show... |
