Ok so i had sex with this guy twice. In a 2 day period. We didnt use a condom. And he came in me.Then he tells me that he has aids. But that he has slept with other girls and they havent gotten anything. Is there a posibilty that I DO NOT have it.???Please help me. Im in need.

There is no certainty that you have contracted AIDS.

AIDS and HIV are extremely difficult to contract.

HIV is NOT automatically passed on in any case.

Even if you were to have blood from an HIV infected person drip directly onto an open wound on your skin, transmission of HIV would not be for certain, though it would be extremely high (about 90% likely).

Sexual intercourse is how HIV is passed on in about 60-70% of all cases, though the actual chance of getting HIV from someone infected by it through sexual intercourse is anywhere from 0.1% to about 1%.

If condoms are used always and properly, the chance of transmission is about 1 in 1000 (0.1%). If they are used most of the time and properly, the chance is closer to 1/100 (1%). If condoms are not used at all, risk increases to 1 in 10/1 in 15 or about 10%.

The reason people become infected is that they participate in high risk behaviours such as consistant unprotected sex with many people they do not know. Risk increases with number of partners, but the chances are still very relatively low.

From the Centre for Communicable diseases, this is the info they give on transmission rates:

Risk of HIV-1 Transmission by Type of Exposure
Exposure.....................Transmiss... rate

Blood Transfusion..........Very high (>90%)

Perinatal (mother to baby birth)..............................From 10%-30%

Sexual Intercourse...........From 0.1% (1/1,000) to 1% (1/100)

Injecting drugs................Generally less than 1%

Health care(pricked by a needle).....................Less than 0.5%

Household......................Very Rare - can occur via fresh blood contact

To Summarize, there is no way to know if HIV has been transmitted to you, and your chance of being infected is low at about 5-10%, at the highest. That being said, having unprotected sex with anyone whose sexual history you do not know completely (and you can never know anyone's completely) is a huge mistake. Go and get tested, though you will have to wait about 6 months before the results can be considered accurate, as HIV antibodies take a large amount of time to show up in the bloodstream.

Stop worrying about it now, because that will not help you. The chances you have been infected are low, but still possible. Stop having sex without condoms, and get tell your doctor exactly what has happened so he can order tests for you now & over the next several months.

Well first of all this guy is a A hole. Getting aids is a risk thing. The more bodily fluids secreted from a person with aids that get into and onto your body the higher the risk. The AIDS/HIV virus MUST have a direct path to the blood stream. Any open cuts or abrasions in and on your body are a path to the blood stream. The vagina is a very "thin skinned" area and typically when having intercourse the vagina tears a little. Anal sex is the most dangerous act that can be performed since the anus rips very easily. But calm down you don't know if you have it so keep a level head go in right away to a public health clinic as soon as you can to begin testing. Also AIDS is not a "death sentence" anymore.

Also a person with any std is considered a "dangerous weapon" People with the AIDS virus that have sex without telling the other person(s) protected or not is committing a criminal act.

HIV (virus that can lead to AIDS) is not transmitted 100% of the time, so it is possible that you do not have it. However, it is also possible for someone to be infected by having sex with an infected person only ONCE.

You should get tested. More than 98% of people who have HIV would test positive within 3 months. In very rare cases, it could take up to 6 months for someone to test positive. The standard recommendation is to get tested 3 months after possible exposure, then get retested 3 months later.

Don't have sex with anyone else until you know for sure that you are not infected. Once someone is infected, they can pass the virus to others, even before they test positive themselves, and long before they have symptoms.

You can check the website hivtest.org to find free testing sites in your area. Just enter your ZIP code.

BTW: It is a crime for someone who knows he has HIV to have unprotected sex with another person without telling the person about the infection first.

Yes you can get aids from only having sex with them ONCE. And for him cuming in you doesnt make a diffrence, if he has it, there is a chance that you could have it...

It is actually illigel for him too have aids and not tell you before yous have sex ??

I suggest you go to your doctor and get a blood test.. That tests for aids and HIV and a few other things, also getting a urine test, tests for alot of other sexually transmitted deseases..

And i think it just takes about a week or so too get your results back..

Its probably the best thing too do.

Good luck. Hope you dont have itt..

If the guy is being serious, then you probably (though not certainly) now have AIDS. Go to your doctor. And you need to find out who else this total asshole has been sleeping with and get them to the doctor as well. If you are infected, I suggest launching prosecution proceedings against him for gross criminal negligence. Maybe you can get some compensation out of it. Besides which, AIDS is already a fraking pandemic -- we don't need selfish bastards like him making it worse. He should be quarantined or castrated.

Yes there is a possibility that you do not have it. I really hope he is lying to you. He would have to be sick to do that. You should tell you doctor what happened and be monitored. Even if a blood test says negative now, a test could come up positive years later I think.

I think he could be charged very seriously (under the law) if he knowingly is going around infecting people like that.

I am sure you could charge him with something or sure him from wrong doing, even if he was a lying jerk.

Um do you seriously think he's telling the truth? and a lot of times HIV (you wouldnt get aids right off the bat) doesnt show on a test for like 6 months. But its almost certain you have it. Nice.

if he came in you and he has aids then you probably do have aids go get checked instead of talking to us about this

your chances are very high having unprotected sex with someone who has the disease. Does this person have AIDS or is HIV positive?

Not only did he give you AIDS.

But you're also probably pregnant!

Are you serious?

wow you need to get off the computer and go hit up a doctor with this question

The guy u had sex with probably is kidding
