Is acupuncture good for you? ? |
I am 16 I have some spinal problems from an injury and I have wanted to have acupuncture done to see if it will help. Or have a message I鈥檓 not sure what one will work the best Acupuncture deffinatly works! I had bells Paulsy which sprung up randomly which mean u lose function in one side of your face, when u smile blink talk or whatever one side doenst move and ur face looks droopy on one side! I could garrgle mouthwash it would just squirt out that one side of my mouth cuz i could keep it closed! I had head acupuncture helped becuase it helps with tons of stuff especially with nerves which is why i had it cuz the nervous stopped working. 80% of poeple dont fully recover and i decided to get it on that side of my face to stimulate the nerves and i have full function now, after only one session. Ull need more than one but acupunture works. they put it in your pressure points, which is ur bodys natural pain reliever as well. If u ever notice ur having cramps or what not pinch the skin between ur thumb and finger ull notice the pain to relieve. Its a scientific fact it works! yes i have heard of many people's positive experiences with pain relief from acupuncture. when you have alot of pain all the time you're willing to try anything to make it get better or hopefully go away. i went once to a college of acupuncture for a treatment. the more advanced students have to practice with real people under the supervision of the instructor. they put alot of needles in me and only one hurt. it was kind of burning. i told them and it didn't hurt anymore. i thought they took it out, but when i was done it was still in. they just moved it a little and it immediately stopped burning. i only went once and i needed to go more. this is good if you don't have alot of $ for treatment because the school charges alot less. if you think you don't want a student to work on you, it is my belief that these people are very focused on their learning and practice of acupuncture and while they don't have the experience of licensed acupuncturists they are a good alternative if you really need to pay less $. if your injury is covered under an insurance claim good luck getting them to approve anything alternative. yes, acupuncture is definitely effective for body injuries. I've had several treatments for different issues, including stiff muscles, scoliosis, acid reflux and PMS/fertility. It's a drug free way to relieve pain, and the results are immediate. I personally been to chiropractors and massage therapists for many years, and did not see any results. After my first acupuncture treatment most of my symptoms disappeared. I highly recommend acupuncture, but make sure you find a good one. Ask your friends who have previous experience. Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years by the Chinese. They are probably the healthiest nation on earth, so there is a very good possibility that it works and may help you. However how are we to know what your spinal problems are and which treatment is best. Is the damage of a muscular or a back-bone kind? Considering the alternative is going to a chirporactor, accupuncture sounds like a much safer bet, even if it doesn't work. accupuncture and massage therapy worked wonders for my back problems. i'd say give it a try. just remember that after any acupuncture session, drink lots of water and try to at least go lay down if not take a nap or sleep. if you don't do that, the following day can be completely draining on all levels. yeah its great! Sure sometimes it does work. But for your problem I wonder. I would suggest a good massage instead. Get professional help, though, spinal problems are delicate. Be careful. 鈽?/div> You should probably ask your doctor but my answer is acupuncture. I have had acupuncture and it really did help me. |
