Does acupuncture help with TTC?

Has anyone ever tried acupuncture to help the TTC process? I have heard that it is very helpful...my doctor even said it had great benefits. This is me and my husband's 6 month of TTC and I started acupuncture a couple of weeks ago...I figured it couldn't hurt. It is actually pretty relaxing! Just wondering if acupuncture has worked for you or anyone you know...thanks in advance for friendly comments!

A recent study on IVF, and IVF with Acupuncture showed that the combination of the two treatments was more effective than IVF alone.

The IVF group (87) showed 28% positive pregnancy tests with 22% carrying to term.

The first IVF and acupuncture group (95) showed 42% positive pregnancy tests with 36% carrying to term.

I tried acupuncture when we were ttc with my daughter. I have no idea whether it actually helped but I know it certainly relaxed me and took my mind off the whole "must get pregnant, must get pregnant" scenario. Ironically though, as soon as I stopped having it (after a year of trying) I fell straight away.

Our bodies are very strange things. Only advice I can give is try not to panic and enjoy ttc. Once you take the pressure of baby making out of it, it becomes fun again and that is when you will fall pregnant. Best of luck to you.
