Anyone tried acupuncture for a "Morton's Neuroma"? |
I have a neuroma, (swelling of a nerve) in the ball of my foot. I've done the traditional therapies, injections and orthotics, and while it's better, it isn't gone. I am very reluctant to do the surgery to remove the nerve because it has a limited success rate. Has anyone tried acupuncture? Was it helpful? How did you go about finding the acupuncturist? Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine can help with the pain caused by Morton's Neuroma. Mainly it's going to work by reducing the local inflammation. You will want to take it very easy on the foot while you are getting treatments to allow the treatments to do their work. |
