Is there a self-treatment for Alzheimer's disease? |
If someone had Alzheimer's disease, how could they control it by changing some of his or her daily habits? Do you or someone you know have it? I just lost a loved one to the disease and their is no self-treatment. Even medications don't work that well. I guess you could try activities/puzzles that stimulate the brain, but I don't think this really works either. E-mail me if you ever need the point or view of someone who has been through this disease with a loved one who had it at a young age. I did some quick research for you and found the following link at MentalHelp.net. I hope it will help. It's a brain disease. There is no cure, but medications will slow it down. There is no effective self treatment. |
