Does the movie "The Notebook" accurrately depict the Alzheimer's disease?

Alzheimer's affects different people in different ways; kinda like breaking a bone - some people may think it's the worst thing ever, for others it's not too bad.

So the depiction of it in "The Notebook" would be accurrate according to the character. People do act like that; no memory of their life, with their memory returning for small periods of time.

Yesss

Yes it does. For the most part.
