My grandpa has alzheimer's disease; what is the chance that I could develop it too?

My grandpa has alzheimer's disease; what is the chance that I could develop it too?

There is a chance. If I were you I would do everything that you can to try and prevent it. Play lots of brain games, puzzles of all sorts. Video games that require you to think and strategize are awesome for building up your brain power. Think like those real time strategy games, puzzle games, brain training games sudoku, crosswords, jigsaw puzzles. Get that brain going now. You need to build it up in preparation for what may not even happen. Eat well too, nutrition plays a role. A definite diagnosis of Alzheimer's can only be made by looking at the brain after the patient has passed away. They can only diagnose as "Probable" Alzheimer's.
