Is Male Pattern Baldness reversible with anti-androgens?

e.g. flutamide 500 mg / day. I'm told this has feminizing effects in men, not sure exactly what those "effects" are, I'm only 23 and I've been losing my hair for 5 yrs so I'm willing to try anything at this point.

Hormone therapy will not reverse the effects. It may stop further loss but with severe side effects-testicular shrinkage, loss of muscle mass, Development of breast tissue-not worth the risk.
Have you tried rogaine or one of the other prescription drugs?

No it will only halt progression. you need a growth inducing agent, like nitric oxide, NO, as in miNOxidil. you also need a dht inhibitor, antiandrogen, and something to reverse fibrosis of your follicle.

do not try flutamide orally as there are quite a few anocdotal reports of trouble.

in general, start with generic minoxidil (ebay it's around $5-$7 a bottle if you buy a yera's supply). add retinoic-acid (this reduces androgen receptors and enhance absorbsion of other topicals. then add more stuff as budget permits.
