How can a child transsexual get an anti-androgen ASAP?

with parental support.

before puberty starts

In the USA

First, you need a GENDER therapist:

The therapist will evaluate the child and then write a letter of referral to an endocrinologist.

The endocrinologist will decide if and when anti-androgens are started. However, if puberty hasn't started yet anti-androgens probably won't be used. For kids of that age (10-12) they use puberty blocking drugs call GnRH inhibitors. These are expensive, but totally block the feared wrong direction puberty. They essentially put the body in stasis as far as sexual development goes. If a local endo wil not help you then I suggest contacting this man:

He's the countries leading authority on working with young teens, and pre-teens, transitioning.

If you haven't already I suggest you download a copy of the Standards of Care here:

Hope this helps.

Generally, to start hormones (and anti-androgens are considered hormones) you need a letter from a therapist. Take the letter to an endocronologist and you can get started from there. If she's 12, this is actually a perfect time to start. If you keep testosterone out of her system, when she's older, she will be, basically, undistinguishible from a genitic girl. If she has to deal with testosterone, she may have to deal with a deepened voice, facial hair and other perminant changes that could, otherwise, be avoided.

You do not need it until puberty starts.

The thing to do now is to get into gender therapy and get diagnosed so you can be referred to a doctor for the anti-androgens when you actually need them

Has the child been evaluated by a qualified gender specialist? If so the therapist can write a letter of recommendation before the onset of puberty.
