Should i tell about my anxiety disorder?

I barely talk about this problem, only to my close friends and my boyfriend. I have a friend that yells, maybe he can't understand, argues against what i say about it, but at least i feel he cares!

I'm with my boyfriend for about 2 months... we've met each other 5 months ago. And i've told him about my problem cause the symptoms are somehow "weird" and hard to hide, and if someday i have a panic attack and he is present... he won't be so scared. He didn't seem to understand very well whats anxiety disorder, but i'll give it time, if he is interested he may google it or simply just ask me.
The thing is... some days i'm more anxious than others and its harder to control my emotions. Sometimes i feel so down and like talking with him, even if its only for 15mn or so. But he seems to avoid the matter. He asks me how do i feel, if i answer that i feel anxious and then i say a few words about it, he quickly changes subject. It feels like he cannot deal with the problem, or maybe it's too soon to talk about it.

I'm not the depressive type, i don't cry everytime and i don't make him my therapyst or whatelse. It's just.. i don't feel comfortable talking about my problems and suddenly he changes subject. Clearly he doesn't want to bear it or don't feel prepared. About the rest, he is usually carefull and attentive to what i have to say.
Question is: am i scaring him? Is it too soon to talk about this?

I wouldn't exactly say that you are scaring him. It sounds like he's not sure how to react to it or doesn't know how to deal with the situation. Maybe he's never met anyone with anxiety disorder. Keep an open dialog with him, he may not realize he's doing it. Talk to him about it and tell him you would like him to listen to you.

2 months is a very short time to build a relationship.
i think you should give him time. but he can't avoid this forever.
soon enough you will NEED to talk about it.
wait till he is ready but if it takes too long i think you should sit him down and talk it through.

He probably doesn't understand what you are going through - and he may want very badly to fix it for you. Sometimes when a guy realizes he can't he changes the subject.

Yes... yeah, sure.

when people have a disorder, other people feel uncomfortable and may change the subject because they don't understand and don't know what to say. i think it is good you tell people close to you, they need to know. i would talk to my boyfriend and tell him how you feel and ask him if he has any questions and that you know he won't understand, but he needs to talk to you about it. he is just worried he will say the wrong thing and you need to bring it into the open.
