I have been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Clinical Depression. ....? |
This has been going on most of my life but I didn't have any symptoms for a long time until after i had my daughter. I then started having blood pressure problems, and I am on 50 mg of Toprol a day for that and Anxiety. I am up to 200 mgs of Zoloft a day for both the depression and anxiety. I take Clonapin for anxiety and I also wanna throw in here that I have under active thyroid disease that is being monitored carefully. Problem is- i am having numbness and tingling in my sinus area and in my finger tips. My doctor says that it is my panic symptoms returning. I don't understand this as I have been given a ton od medication. I don't normally feel nervous but I have a lot of physical anxiety/stress symptoms. I was just looking for thoughts on this matter- does anyone experience similar things or do you know of a way to overcome this. I am very tired of it all. I am tired of worrying all of the time over something I really know is not serious. When you have a baby, you worry more anyways. Please give me some opinions anything so I can have a better more thorough sicussion with my doctor. my suggestion is to try some relaxation techniques. things like meditation, hot bubble baths, yoga etc. personally i smoke a pipe (tobacco of course) to relax and i can say it does wonders for me. also, the poster above me recommends exercise and vitamins, which i agree with you should really consider taking vitamins as well for your anxiety and depression..there are herbal remedies that work great, you should do some research. i have dealt with alot of anxiety in my life and eating right/ exercise help alot..and i am a regular vitamin junky-lol / and kids are stressful so you really need to learn how to calm down from a long day and relax.turn on some soft music and take a nice bubble bath..you have to take time for yourself, its so important..i have overcome alot of my anxiety just by learning to relax and just let go..when you worry you think to much and that is exausting ya know? |
