Anxiety can cause all kinds of digestive problems. and as you know, stomach ulcers are very often caused by stress. Anxiety and stress can definitely contribute to any GI condition. People with irritable bowel syndrome will tell you that's one of the biggest causes of bad flare ups. If you're already prone to stomach issues, stress is very aggravating. |
