Have any of you had bacterial vaginosis during pregnancy & did everything turn out to be ok? |
I'm 5 weeks pregnant and I'm positive I have bacterial vaginosis back for the 5th time. I read online if not treated it can cause miscarriages or even preterm labor...I guess most doctors dont treat this until the second trimester..Im really worried about waiting & I dont want to take the antibiotics & that cause birth defects. Has anyone else out there gone through this? yes, i had it during my first pregnancy. They did prescribe me the medicine. I was maybe 7 weeks pregnant or so. It clearly said do not take if pregnant but the doctor said it would be okay. I took a few days to think about it and while i was thinking the infection led to a miscarriage. It was horrible and i hate to think that maybe if i would have just took the medicine id have my first babies now. |
