Is it harder to treat bacterial vaginosis the longer it is left untreated? |
after learning what the symptoms of BV are i think that i've had it for almost 5 years. i didn't start seeking treatment until january. i was first given metronidazole which i had a horrible allergic reaction to. and a few weeks ago i was given clindamycin which gave me no results at all. they just need to find the right treatment to clear it.make sure you stay away from scented soaps.try to get as much air to it as you can.i had it for about three years b 4 i knew.im clear nw.i know its awfull.you will be o.k. good luck. Some cases of Bacterial Vaginosis are considered chronic... You should consult a physician to verify that you indeed have Bacterial Vaginosis. |
