Do i have bipolar disorder ? |
i have looked up bipolar disorder on the internet and it came up with a few questions and it said if you say yes to over half these questions it could be quite possible and that was on a professional website not a silly one written by a kid. i also went onto a website and it came up with symptoms and i seem to match that, i want to cry but i cant alot of the time, and i always want to cry but dont have a reason atall? im sad most of the time, my home life is good, and friends are fine, its just me. i match most of the symptoms, im worried? can anyone tell me if i can? it doesnt have to be for sure,im only 13 xx I'm like that and i'm 17... lol I'm sure if you did have bipolar disorder you would probably be diagnosed, as your parents would have taken you to the doctor for a referral to a psychiatrist by now. I think this forum is the last place anyone should be asking for a diagnosis; advice perhaps, but not diagnosis. Nothing you have written remotely describes bipolar to me, and I do know someone who suffers from it; it is nothing glamorous to have to suffer at all. If you have not already make an appointment with your doctor to discuss this then it would be advisable to do so. You're 13. Everyone thinks they're bipolar when they're 13, especially girls. Mental illnesses like bipolar and depression are so overdiagnosed because of greedy pharmasutical companies. Trust me, you match most of those symptoms because you're human. Everyone is like that (especially at that age). probably not. you only have a bipolar disorder if you think you do. they disgnosed my dad with it and he didn't seem like a crazy psycho like, how they portrayed craig in degrassi. although it is another name for "manic depression". just try to continue living your life, for God's sake you're only 13! You might also have cancer, schizophrenia, flesh eating disease, gout and a nasty case of feline leukemia- better check it against the internet, what the hell would a doctor know? you mentioned crying... if you have aches and pains, fatigue, or loss of interest, it could be depression. But if you have mood swings, and loss of interest, it might be manic- depression (Bi-Polar Disorder) you shouldn't diagnose yourself on the internet. try talking to a school counselor for starters. if he/she thinks you should see a doctor, then look into that. It sounds like either your just a young developing girl or you "might" have mild depression it doesn't sound like bipolar at all. It could be bipolar disorder but at 13 it is probably just growing up that is causing it. i'd have to say no - a person with a bipolar disorder has way more severe symptoms like just totally blowing up at someone without a reason ect ect NO you are just going thru puberty Yuh seem to jus have alot of stress. Yes you do......wait no you dont......wait, yes you do.....ummmm no No your just going through puberty everyone feels like that at your age You so Crazy no. just a girl...we get like that u know. PMS you sound like any normal girl to me its called PMS get the **** over it! well no u prolly have a depression problem |
