Mental Disorder? (Bipolar, Bulimia, OCD, Anxiety)?

So if someone were bipolar, bulimic, ocd, and had anxiety issues, where would they go? Are there live-in hospitals or clinics in the GTA?
Also, if someone cuts themselves and were classified as a danger to themselves as well as being suicidal where would they go?

purely curious

i mean if they told their doctor/psychologist/psychaiatrist

I find it interesting that you have asked this question. Although I have never been 'treated' - this is my life.

When I was 15 I told a trusted family member whom I adored (whom also lives across the country from me) that I had bulimia (not directly.. but short answer - she found out). She told me to stop and told me all about how unhealthy it was and that I will die - so I just didn't bring it up again because I didn't want her to tell my parents.

About 5 months later I wrote her another email all in a frenzy and I said way too much - but again, long story short - she discovers I am being physically, verbally and sexually abused, have an eating disorder, definate obsession with pleasing everyone, always nervous, always in pain - just a lot of crap..

Really long story short - she told my family- I stard cutting - family threw me at a councellor - left after 3 meetings.

I wish I had been taken more seriously - maybe I wouldn't be so unhappy now..

When my aunt found out I was cutting she told me that if I was brought to the hospital they would immeadiately 'lock me up'

I know that there different types of treatment centres for eating disorders: either in patient (live at hospital), out patient (come and go from hospital) and then designated treatment facilites.

Anyway.. hope I answered your question.

Depend on how bad they are. Some people need to see a therapist, or doctors, I actually have all of those, and I am a genuis (Someone with a High IQ tends to have mental disorders). My Therapist was not much help and I had to figure stuff out myself, Went to a doctor to get the right antidepressant, and use vitamins for the other. But like I said it depends how bad they are. If they are sucidal=Hospital, Depressed or a cutter maybe a docter or therapist. Sometimes talking to people in general helps and like i said Vitamins, medicine in the right combo, too much Meds can negatively effect you, however low amount of meds and the right vitamins will do wonders. Bulimia can be cause by BP or Anxiety, which if you treat that first may help the bulimia.

tell your doctor.
get a therapist.
you might need a psychiatrist.
I have both.
people who cut are a danger to themselves and are dealt with in different ways. some may be baker acted or some may just be put on medication.
you probably need medication for any of those if your therapist decides you need it.
